Building Green: Classroom Resource- Habitat for Humanity

This is an additional resource that focuses on “Thinking Green”, an initiative by Habitat for Humanity to support sustainable construction choices.

Habitat for Humanity is an international aid organisation that builds sustainable houses for people in need. Habitat for Humanity began as a grassroots effort. The housing organisation has since grown to become a leading global non-profit working in more than 70 countries. Worldwide, Habitat has helped more than 13.2 million people obtain safe and decent housing, along with the strength, stability and independence to build better lives.
